Nero With Cue Files

Hey Guys,

Great site glad to be a part of it.

Now i'm sure this question has been asked many times before, but i can't see a reply that works for me so here goes.....

I have nero 6 and I'm trying to burn an mp3 (1 track) and a cue file.

I have tried to burn the cue file with burn image but it keeps telling me that an error occured whilst loading the cue file (line 1)

Anybody have any idea what i should do, it never works with any cue file..

I'm pulling my hair out !!

The MP3/cue combination generated by Exact Audio copy is VOID, only EAC will take it as is.

Open the cue with notepad (Shift-Rightclick allows "open with", even if the file has an assigned program that normally opens it) - or drag-drop to an open notepad.

The correct format for MP3/CUE is FILE "Cats.mp3" MP3 in the first line.
If it specifies the directory, remove that - the cue should not specify a directory, but should be in the same directory as the referenced file (more portable, as then it will work if not in the original directory).

The second incompatibility is that Exact Audio Copy (EAC) enters it as FILE "Cats.mp3" WAVE - and uses the available sytem codec to decode.

To burn that style of cue with any other program, edit the WAVE to MP3 as above.

A .bin is usually associated with a .cue and contains the actual data.
In this case, it doesn't apply, sorry.
