Nero vs Daemon Tools

Hi , can anyone tell me why Nero 5.5.7.8 wont work with Daemon Tools 300, Everytime i fire up nero it takes ages to scan the IDE - SCSI buses (roughly about 3 to 4 mins) which is a pain.
I know Daemon is the culprit, soon as i deinstall it, Nero works fine again.
I'm running Win 98 SE.

I know that dt have problems with vob,and on my pc i got nero with dt--no probs atall...Running 2000prof...

Must be something to do with 98 eh?......had them running together when i was using Win ME (it had to go, know what i mean?) Thanx anyway

Thanx for the advice....but to no avail...installed DT 2.88, same thing every time, dont have any other emu's installed, did try Fantom but the same prob...even tried renaming,removing the nerocd95.vxd file.
Surely must be a Win 98 thing eh?
