I captured some high resolution TV clips using ATI All-In-Wonder. The format is NTSC, 720x480, MP2. The clips play fine on my PC. When I add them to Nero Vision Express 1.0.4.6, the system bombs out. The message generated is "Unable to prepare data for recording. Prepare session failed (Internal Error 255). Reading through numerous forums, I came across the following:
<<This is a subject close to my heart at the moment - I'm not sure if it
will solve your problem though.....I record from a TV Card (Nebula Digi TV)
and it saves to Broadcast Standard Mpeg 2 which is fine for watching on the
Digi TV Player on the PC. If you want to play it on a DVD player you have to
go through quite a lengthy process demuxing first with PVAStrumento(freebie)
then using TMPGEnc Plus 2.5 (free trial demo available) to produce a
standard DVD quality Mpeg2 file which then needs to go through an authoring
program such as Vision Express to produce the VOB files ready for burning
onto DVD.>>
Is my case the same as the one stated above? Will going to Nero 6 with the DVD-video plug-in solve my problem? Can someone shed light on my problem?
Thanks in advance.
