Nero v6 -----

Hello guys.
I have a couple of questions, dont know if its the right department.

Question 1.
I have at last bought Nero v6 OEM. Price 19 $. Which features is missing from a OEM release ? I have tried to find something about it at Ahead, but didn`t find anything.

Question 2.
Have burned some cd`s with keygenned versions of Nero. The computers connected to internet burned the cd`s but I could read /see only one file.
The same version , but on a computer without Internet connection burns the same cd`s without problems

Any clues ? Especially on the first question

Many thanks for answering Scooterpig. :)

Have always had "registered versions" of this prog (followed my burners), but not v6, and it has been handier for me to use <other serials>.

My most imortant question is the differences, when they sell so cheap(price on web for update 39 and full 79).

Many thanks in advance , for answering

You can get Nero 6 OEM at about half the price you've paid at Nero's hometown (Karlsbad/Karlsruhe) at the flea market... genuine OEM, not pirated stuff.
Why it is so cheap? Ummm, probably it's just its real value for money.

Can't find the detail I was looking for, but as I understand it....

Nero 6 OEM is always Express only
Suite 1 lacks the DVD encoder (though given the quality of it, no great loss) and some other features.
Suite 3 is fairly complete, but Express only.

From the frequent availability of OEM suite, I'm guessing that V6 OEM Suite is not drive-locked like V5.5 Bundled.

Many online stores also sell OEM - and many break the condition that it should be sold with a drive (or if, like some other OEM stuff, it says "with hardware", comply with the letter but not the spirit, by insisting that there is a non-software item in your order - an inkjet cartrdge, for instance).

For the price mentioned, it ought to be a genuine OEM Suite 3.

Uups sorry I said wrong, it is 17 $.
Take a look here:http://www.datakjeden.no/default.asp?bID=2#

Ok after your explanation LTR12101B, I found what the package is.
Nero Express v6, InCD 4, nero vision express 2-se, nero showtime, nero media player, nero toolkit and nero cover designer.

It is not drive looked.

As you said LTR12101B...
and many break the condition that it should be sold with a drive
I bought 3 cd`s just in case...

Yes, Nero 6 OEM is just "Express", but since your CD contains also all those goodies (?) the price is mighty fair...
Personally not interested buying such a thing, but it does make me feel stupid for paying about 80$ for Nero 5.0.18+ InCD 3.X (boxed with manual) some time ago...

I prefer the bao burning engine, but my children does not.

and I could not let this offer go.
So just tell, scarecrow I can buy one for you and send down to your island of summer...

Found it!

I have a feeling the OEM Suite 1 (basically the CD Suite) had the SE version of Nerovision Express - if that's a suite 1, then it's NOT a good price.

The price on that link, is pretty good, actually, for a Nero Suite 3.

http://www.software-blowouts.com/software-blowouts/nero6oemsuite1.html

YES, Suite 1 does have the SE version, no DVD or SVCD support - and THAT link above, is very misleading indeed, quoting the normal price as $49.99 - no way would you expect to pay that for an OEM Suite version!

PS. If you want to buy a genuine registered Nero 6 full, the upgrade serial deal is the way to go.
http://www.nero.com/en/nero6_upgrade.html
In Euro funnymoney, It's 34.99 for an upgrade registration from Nero 3,4,5, full or OEM (5.5 purchased within qualifying period got free update, outside that period, purchased 5.5 owners get no better deal than ancient version or OEM owners).

So how cheap can you source an old 5.5 bundle - it doesn't even need to be the right one, or did you have one for an old drive (don't turn in the excellent 5.0 OEM with printed keyslip, since that's almost a full retail 5.5).

$49.99 for US upgrade - they call that version ULTRA, not sure how it differs from EU version.

It always irks me that their English languge site quotes prices only in Euro funny money - call me a little Englander if you like, but I want to see prices in good ol' pounds sterling.

Ok I call you an Englander, but England is my favorite holiday country. So that is not a bad name.

And many thanks LTR12101B for your fullfilling answer. Now I know what I need to know...
