Some more bugs fixed?

Or new ones created?
Major new ones created.

New version likely to freeze win98 and ME systems totally. Some reports indicate that users can't even boot after installing latest nero.

Others can boot but most windows programs no longer work.

You've been warned.

stone_burner

I have suffered the W98 prob - I can boot OK, but can't run anything. If I try to start Nero everything freezes while the SCSI/IDE scan takes place.

Just glad I had a ghost image to fall back on, since it's impossible to uninstall or go back any other way.

Don't Ahead try these bl**dy updates before they issue them every five minutes!

I updated my old version of Nero and its working fine. I'm on W2K though. I get an error saying my mp3pro pluggin is not compatable, I didnt even know I had one !

But is burning DVDR's just fine, same as old version did.

i'm using win98se (98lite Professional 3.0) !
it's all ok!

but if need , i have ghost image too!
thanks GOD.

all is working very fine,no problems.

LMAO....good 1,dude....:D
@ roadworker,netman, RASTABT, CM and... (hey it's a thread of masters(not me,of course))...

help me a little(means "lot" for me),please:

i use nero to burn vcds, svcds ,data...etc..it's fantastic,
...but not for audio cds.
for audio cds i use easy cd "cremator"!

why?(if you ask)

easy cd is the only prog that don't put clicks in the transitions
from one music to another. :(
i try many other like:
nti (good for data too)
feurio,....and many more.
just the same...click in transitions!

of course i'm doing something wrong with nero!
the true is: i follow the help files but loose something.
i have easycd cremator only for audio ,nothing more.

i never got good results using nero to burn audio cds, then i ask:
how i configure nero to solve this problem?
how i remove clicks and cut the 2 seconds in transitions?
if you help me to solve this "problem" i uninstall the cremator forever!

thank you all in advance!

jorel !

Nero can set the pregaps to any value you want, but you have to use Disk at Once mode only- else the pregap returns to the default 150 sectors.
The most easy programs to burn an audio disk (and also fullfeatured) are RecordNowMax and Burnatonce. Both have everything set (CD-Text included) with 4-5 mouse clicks, and ready to burn.

some of my students did some tests a while back trying to burn a demo cd and found the same results. they tried several packages including nero and even feurio produced clicks on the final product. only ezcd cremator made a good clean copy. and all of the trials were made burning at 4x. it could have been media related but it still showed ezcd making the best copy.

i don't use cremator for audio but i always use good quality media and i never have any problems with feurio or eac. i haven't tried burnatonce yet for audio but i intend to.

Funnily enough, I have no issues with this version of nero either.

Probs to ahead for constantly striving to better their product.

I have been using Nero for a long time now and have not had all the problems you guys have been having. And yes i have a legal keycode. Do You?

For audio I always backup the CD with EAC to WAV files and burn with Record Now Max and I've never had any "clicks". Always at either 12x or 16x and 99% of the time onto Mitsui Gold media.

hi to all masters here. :)

i'm testing some programs to find my solution with your help.

i got strange result with NTI cdMaker 6 :

using the "cd copy" with an double cd "alive"
(megadeth-rude awakening),
without intervals,
the program put 2 seconds between the songs...
in the 2 cds!!!!
:p

then i trash it and testing the Record Now Max !

;)

Regrettably yes...
But I can still whimper the cheap excuse that I purchased it back to the 5.0.1.2 days, when Nero was still a decent application. Plus inCD which never really worked, but i don't even want to think about this one.
