Nero SoundTraxx (TEARIN' OUT MY HAIR!)

All of my audio codecs/encoders work fine. My players, QCD, Jet Audio, etc. work great. I can burn a regular audio cd at 44x and it sounds great. Since I've had Nero 6 I've been able to burn crossfaded/mixed cd's thru Soundtraxx, and they sound great. Until now. Now it doesn't matter whether I add a wave file, mp4, mp3, wma, whatever. The audio is choppy, as if my pc were soooo low on RAM it was struggling to play it. This is not the case.

Can anyone advise??

I've removed Nero altogether, reinstalled it, and recently reinstalled XP pro, albeit for another problem since repaired.

I mix these cd's for club work, and for my car club members, and now I'm stuck..

please read here about disabling IMAPI and enabling DMA: http://www.dvdrbase.com/showthread.php?t=32137
also limit the burning speed to 8x or 16x and use quality media only; :)
