Nero shortcut problem ???

hi

i have a small problem with Nero 5.5.9.0 and the problem is after i install Nero i can't see the shortcut for nero or CoverDesigner and else ???

there is only Ahead --> and then Nero Toolkit --> and the empty folder !!!

i can find nero from going from C: and into the original folder only so i have to make the shortcut my self in the Programs files.

i tryed to reinstall and uninstall but there is no way and when i return to the old one 5.5.8.2 it's work and i can find the shortcut.

i tryed to download Nero from many sites but still have this problem.

my friend had that problem too, you're not alone. i have no idae why it happened that way..

keep changing the serial number until it appears...i couldn't see nero express with one serial..then i couldn't see nero after i tried again...keep changing serials till you get what you're after..if you don't have keygen search the forums...you'll find it

Chunter is right. I can confirm that this troubles are serial related because they happened to me. Just clean the registry and use a different serial.

thanks guys.. BUT my friend's problem had occured just after the installation of Nero 5.5.9.0 on a brand new Xp Home installation. You have to put the serial after installation but the short cuts are not placed where they're have to be by the nero installer. you manually go to installation directory of Nero and make a short cut by yourself and then you type in the serial. So it's not a serial based problem in my opinion..
