Nero / LiteOn 24102b / CDText

Nero and CloneCD have been my main softwares
but the one problem i kept on having was WRITING
CDTEXT in Nero.

Always no problem reading CDTEXT but writing although
supposedly supported did not work forcing me
to use Feurio.......

UNTIL Version 5.576 Now it does work well.

My old Sony 4 and 8 speed burners worked in older versions
but not the LiteOn even in the OEM version that shipped with
the burner.

Happy now.........anybody else having CDTEXT
woes should get the 5.576 or above version.

Good point about Feurio........ I use it
heaps but Nero is probably the best ALL
IN ONe I can show Friends and Relations
new to PCs how to use.....

This problem with the lite-on's AND come to that a host of writers with nero has been recently corrected, Look for 5.5.7.8 or the new version on the site 5.5.8.0 these work fine with liteon's to write CD TEXT

Poko I'm going on your hand and I hope you're right.I got a very very very nice writer Plextor 24X and with Nero is not working the way I'd like but a lot of people said Plex is the best and at 4 min cd I'm more than happy.Feurio is new for me and beside VOB Instant CD/DVD or NTI CD Maker is not a big deal but I take a word from a general of the site. On the other side I'm looking for Internet Eraser 3.0.Any idea how is working?Thanx and I know allready that you and your friend Bunuel don't belive in god.
