Nero conflicts help needed.

Hi all,

I am in need of some help.

I am running nero express 5.5.0.43 (i think) and i have a mate who has one of the nero 6's it seems that anything i run off will cause problems, random freezing some dvd backups will not even recognize in the mates pc yet in my PC and stand alone dvd they work fine. i was wondering if this is an issue like we had with 5.5.10.0 or is it different???

i have a pioneer 106 and a liteon combo and have been using V8 dvd-r 4x, previously was princo dvd-r 4x ... will have ritek within days though.


any idea's??

Normally random freezing during playback is associated with poor quaity media. I dont know who makes V8 DVDR's but Princo is certainly no where near the top quality media. Suggest you try the Ritek that you have comming soon.

In the mean time check that you have DMA turned ON for your burner, that your ASPI layer is not corrupt and that you have the latest firmware in your burner.
