nero aspi error help req

im using nero 5510 when i load the programe a message box comes up saying - apix -could not open driver. trying system aspi.
how do i fix this problem iv tried reinstalling nero but it didnt help

In most cases NeroASPI loads properly- unless a previous serial still present in the system is not very well liked.

could also be a conflict between Nero and other burning software (drivers) or storage media readers for microdrives, smartcarts or memorysticks;

so how can i resolve the problem orignally i replaced wnaspi.dll
in windows with a nero version mistake i know but used forceaspi
to resolve that

Nero ASPI can replace the Adapec layer locally, and not globally.
Removing that nero file from syatem directory, and then installing Adaptec ASPI+rbooting and on top Nero+rebooting should cure the problem. Do not change any files manually.

use the ForceASPI function "KillASPI"
reboot
download Ahead's ASPI "WnASPI32.dll" < here >
copy this file in your Nero folder
run Nero
