ok, after doing some reading in the forum, it appears that it's common sense that nero is not a good burner. Altought i've been using it almost a year now and have had no problems regarding the quality of the cd's that I have burned;
do keep in mind that I burn at the max speed (12x) of my writer (plextor 12/10/32 scsi) and use high quality media...
My first question is:
if Nero produces that much errors (c1 and c2, am I right?) on a CD, is that cd still useable? I am asking this because I have a lot of cd's that we're burned using nero, but not tested... I have checked now a recent burned cd with nero cd test, and it gave no errors....
Second question:
what program should I use that more or less adhere to the following requirments:
1) no pretty interface (something simple and professional looking, i don't like the new win xp look
)
2) must have the ability to do 1:1 copies (of data cd's not protecetd)
3) serve as mastering app for creating audio cd's, data cd's, bootable cd's, etc...
Point 1 is more of a preference rather than a requirement...
Well, I think that's about it from me...
Sorry for my bad english...
