nero and burn speeds

Using latest nero, my Plextor drive has no problem burning at whatever speed I select even using 32x media. But the A-Open drive will burn at only 32x in nero even though it is badged as a 48x drive using the same media. Is there a way around this? TIA.

"Choose recorder"--->"options",check if "justspeed" is activated for your Aopen,if so,deactivate it.....
