Nero and 2 different drives

I had a Teac 4x4x24 cd/rw and decided to buy a faster drive. I purchased a Hi-Val 24x10x40 which came with Nero 5.5. I decided to leave the old Teac in as the slave cd/rw. Nero won't write to the Teac as it says will only write to the drive which it came with. Anybody know how to get around this? Must be something in the registry which blocks 2nd drive.

Thanks,
Pete

The problem is that the serial number is the of the "bundled" type.
You have to contact Ahead if you want a new serial registration number to allow Nero to work with any recorder.

It seems that Ahead is finally aware of this "problem",their latest versions allow the use of more than 1 recorder,as long as the recorder that came with the bundled Nero is still connected on your system........Go to www.ahead.de and download the 5.10.0 demo, and install it as update over yours, most likely, your Teac will be available now......if not,I can provide another solution...:)

Thanks, but I did download the latest version and it still won't use the Teac drive. Says this recorder not the one that came with the software.
