I have Windows 2000 Professional, with a good 500 MB of RAM.
I've uninstalled Roxio Easy CD Creator 5 from my system (using "Add/Delete Programs" in my control panel), and I've deactivated my virus protection (McAffee) when attempting to burn.
I have no problem sequencing a CD project with several tracks and saving the *.npf file.
But when it comes time to burn, Nero 6 Ultra SoundTrax crashes just a few seconds into burning the first track. The application closes entirely with no error messages, and my hard drive freezes up. I have to completely reboot my computer to eject the CD -- which is now worthless anyway.
This happens absolutely every time I try to burn a SoundTrax project to disc.
Does anybody know what causes this? And does anyone know how to fix this?
Thanks!
