Hello
I am having trouble with nero 6. I can't seem to make regular transcoded DVD's or DVD+VR dvd's past a certain length.
With dvd+vr's i can record short bursts of video ie. about 10 mins. if i try to go further, say about 45 mins to an hour I get errors and no video is recorded. A snippet of the log file of is this:

Does anyone here know what that means and how to fix it?
I wonder if it has to do with my windows 2000 installation. I have windows installed on a 5 gig partition (about 2.8 gigs are free). But I have nero set to use drive D: as the temp drive (about 14 gigs free). I know that windows will use the c: drive for some temp stuff even when that is not set as your temp drive. Could my partition set-up be causing me a problem?
I have a spare 15 gig drive wich I could use for the windows C: drive, but I don't want to have to Re-Install all my stuff. Is there an easy way to do this? Maybe by simply adding my spare drive and then copying everything to it? I don't want to have to pay for Norton ghost or anything like that. anyone know how? or is this simply not my problem. Maybe the is a way to FORCE windows to always use drive D: for all temp files? Even the ones that it doesn't call .tmp? (for example, if you download a file from the internet and put the save as location as something other than c:\, windows still first save the file to your C: drive though it does not use a .tmp extension. ONLY AFTER the dowload is complete does it save the file to your actual target.
Any help would be appreciated. I am a little frustrated at the moment. I have been trying to do something for about a week and DVD stuff takes soooo long that an error can waste hours. then i try again
P.S.
I have pinnacle studio software also, but it doesn't even give me a progress bar so that i can tell that the process is stuck. it keeps using you CPU so task manager gives no indication
