Nero 6, drive is already in use

Quick question guys. With Nero 6 (any version released thus far) when I try to burn either a data or music cd-r the burn window opens but it states something along the lines of "drive is already in use" and I cannot burn anything. I have the latest 6.0.0.11 installed but no use, cannot burn. States drive is in use. Nero 5.5.X worked fine, but 6 will not. Running Windows XP Pro and also have installed Roxio Easy CD Creator 6.0.3.4 and aspi 4.71.2. I upgraded aspi from 4.71 as well and that had no effect. Any suggestions? Thanks!

(i) Try ASPI 4.60
(ii) Try without EZCD Cremator installed (but make sure U fully uninstall <> ie clean out the registry)

& for what its worth give Burnatonce a go!

i also have the same problem !

roxio 6 wasnt installed before i hasd the problem, i had to install roxio to create a data cd, cos nero 6 wouldnt let me!

using aspi 4.71

I don't have the problem. No Roxio. No imapi service running in XP. When I had burned with BAO and exited that app and went right into Nero 6, had similar issue. Quit, waited for bao to clear out, then Nero came back up.
