Nero 6.3.0.0 ImageDrive Program Crashes PC ? :/

Hi there. Was wondering if any of you guys/gals could help me out please?

I've just installed the latest version of Nero 6 (above) and shortly after installing I receive a BSOD error (Windows XP Pro) on bootup - after rolling back my system for what seems like about a month and getting things re-sorted I put the likely culprit down to being INCD. So I re-installed and left out the INCD bit only for the same thing to happen again (luckily I made a restore point just before the BSOD issue) It now turns out the problem is the ImageDrive program that is crashing my system (I can't even boot up in safe mode command prompt only method I have is last known good when it happens). When ImageDrive is disabled the problem isn't there, but I would like to use it if poss.

Has anybody else had this problem or has anybody got a possible solution for me (other than chucking Nero out the window - which is becoming sooooo tempting) :/

Might also be useful to know I used to have ECDC 5 Plainum (Roxio) but think I did a pretty thorough job of uninstalling same.

1.) There is so much better software outthere
2.)I saw somebody with same problem when mounting image--possiblly serius bug--workout..use dt or alcohol
3.)There is simply no way to uninstall properly eazycd-unless you monitor the installation with some special proggy like total uninstaller,inctrl.
What to tell more??I was a big nero fan..used it until 5.5..
and i wouldnt install nero 5.5 or 6 even if you would give me a free lifetime license in a box with a brand new dvd burner..
