NERO 6.0.0.9 for max.7 recorders ??? HELP

I need to copy from one image to 6 recorders in same time...YAP

It's against forums rulez to write what I really need ;-(

OK, Nero will give you just SIX coasters then...
Use either Discjuggler or RecordNowMax which are tailor made for burning to multiple recorders, nobody in a "mildly serious" state of mind uses Nero for mass duplication.
You must not have two recorders on the same IDE channel, else coasters are 99.9% guaranteed.

You have to buy a lisence from ahead to burn with 7 recorders at one time.

I didn´t say that this will work without problems but a stable system with 2 scsi controller and 6 equal scsi writer will do it.

Perhaps you can try a naked system with 2 extra promise ide controller too.

I have very, very much expireince with DJ, but it only works (quality) with SCSI recorders.

I heard but didn't see that Nero works better than DJ with IDE recorders.

Can you recomende me needed hardware configuration and software for dupliction with six IDE recorders in one tower?

I never tried this so i am not sure that i am right.

i would buy a big tower with a big psu ..500watt or more.

A mobo with a normal ide controller plus an extra onboard raid/udma133 solution....onboard sound and lan would be fine too.

Then i would buy two extra promise pci ide controller cards.

I would use the normal ide controller for a big hd and a dvd-rom drive.

On every channel of the promise controller and onboard raid controller i would use one writer only.

I am not sure if this will work..perhaps you will get some probs with the irq´s or the busmaster signal.

You mean that I must have some brand new MB at 800Mhz to pass bus problems?

I am open (today) one IDE duplicator builded on ACARD controller and I didn't see anything special on controller board (only one chip, but I am not sure that is RAID controller chip). Also, as I know whole IDE/ATAPI specification is under ATA66 standard (right?).

Can you can be more precise about hardware (especially controllers) specification?

Nero Multiple recorders

U can use any older version of nero 5.5.x.x to writer more than 2 recorders upto 10 recorders.

my system

Pentium IV 1.7ghz
Mercury Mainboard (Low End)
256MB SD Ram
40gb seagate hdd (5400 rpm)
2 CMD 649 PCI Raid Card
10 sony crx215E1 48x Recorders.

I connected 4 recorders in each ide cards( 8 recorders)
2 recorders in onboard ide(1 is Prim slave, 1 is Sec Master)
1 hdd as Prim Master in onboard ide
