ne 5578 will not burn cd
i tried bunring some software unto a cd and nero would not burn it considering i tried with nero 5576 then 5578 and none of them would burn the data cd i always got an error in simulation saying invalid write state and everything in the background was turned off.
i tried to enable/disable dma.
i tried to burn at 2x.
i tried a cdrw disk
i tried a cdr disk
i rebooted the comp and tried again
i tried to burn with nti 2000 pro cd burner software it froze and gave me a coaster.
i tried cd mate software and it finally burned my software i was trying to burn maya, win 3.1 and some other things

i want to know why nero couldn't..it burned great before

the aspi driver from nero

i tried to dl it a min ago from their ftp site but i couldn't somthing came up saying file could not be found where can i get the latest aspi driver

hmm still wont burn

ok after i installed the aspi driver and i renamed the adaptec drivers which i did not install it just happend to be part of my plustek scanner installion file..i think.. anyways i unpluged my scanner and burned the cd without any problems.. now my cd writer is acting up again i tried 4 times to write this mpg file and it gets to 40% then stops with some illegal writestate...

did not even notice that

yeah i have norton and avg antivirus.. but i've shutdown all of them and i also did a ctrl alt del and shutdown everything except systray, explorer and norton...
