nero 5578 stops at 4% burning

Nero 5578 won't work under WindowsXP, it stops at 4% burning and the system crashed, I can't even restart the system, only a reset.

Nero 5572 works verry good under WindowsXP.

Does anybody know why Nero 5578 won't work under my system?

I don't know what to tell you, I'm running XP Home Edition, and 5578 works like a charm.

Nero 5578

I have getting the software with my Plextor 24/10/40A, only the version was 55xx, and each time I have upgrade it.
Only the version 5578 don't work yet.

the 5.5.7.8 works perfectly for me... like every version I have tried. Possible solution: don't use it then, downgrade to whatever previous version that worked for you. 5.5.7.8 doesn't add anything so big that it's a must have. of course if it works then why not; if not, look elsewhere.

Also @ 4% it's really not burning yet. It's only done caching etc. (though it says 4% done...)

I have only use official downloads from ahead.
And at 4% burning You can see a burning on the cd.

The version 5572 runs verry good under WindowsXP Pro.
