Nero 5.5.9.9 Problem! Need Heeeelp....!

Question!
In version 5.5.8.0, when i pull the file from browser window to compilation window (ISO CD) from the CD ROM drive the file copied itself to compilation window in a matter of second! Now, it takes a eternity ... what is the problem... cacheing is off!
The file copies itself first somewhere like in the image file... so, for a 600Mb file, it takes a 5Min's to put itself to Compilation window! Why is that, please i need help, and i need it quick!
I am not trying to copy the disk (i know, i know, ON THE FLY...) i need just 1 file from the CD, and the other files from HDD...!

Simple solution for your problem, IsoBuster 1.0

Here's a temporary solution to your problem. Use IsoBuster 1.0& keygen and extract the certain file to your hd. IsoBuster is superfast :D Now open Nero and add file& burn, then delete the file. You can download IsoBuster 1.0& keygen from CD-R Soft or search this forum ;). I don't think the problem is Nero here, I think the file on your CD-Rom has bad sectors? I use Nero and have never encountered any types of problems. What file type are you trying to burn?

AV Scanner is off... the problem is with every CD, like a removable drive problem... i have downgraded to 5.5.8.0 and everything is back to normal! Why does that happen, and how do i prevent this, that is the problem...! Like it is cacheing the file.. hmm... does this happened to anyone else, or just me!
The CDROM drive is TEAC 40x, probably the the best CDROM drive ever... as i said, in 5580 everything is OK!
Help?

PS. Sorry about my english... please!

Answers:

-1. Yep, 4.71.1 from Adaptec (but what is the difference in 5580?)
-2. Yes , DirectCD (i think it is v5.02.build ???)

But as i said in version 5.5.8.0 everything is normal! In 5.5.9.x the file keeps copying itself first somewhere in the cache! And it is very annoying, that's why i downgrade it to 55.8.0. Also it takes very much time (6min - 600Mb), what should i do! It says "Checking file"... What for? AV Scanner is OFF! Same thing with MP3 (from CD) to Audio Compilation! In 5.5.8.0 it only check the file, in 5.5.9.x it checks the file and then it copies it somewhere in the cache i think! Is that necessary? Like some kind of protection against Buffer Underrun (safer/faster if the file is on the HDD! Stupid!)
Another Q! Where has CrossFade Track option gone (AudioCD/Properties)?
I think noone can help me... just i think!
Could U?

When I burn ISO file I just select FILE then CD IMAGE so I don't have any experience with Drag & Drop ISO from Browser window to share with you. The only thing I know it would take longer to burn are these 2 options must be unchecked.

[ ] Determine Maximum Speed
[ ] Simulation (this sucker won't stay unchecked like used to)

Those are the ones I can think of that can take longer to burn. If there is newer options and you don't want to use then just turn them OFF see if it helps.

Use AheadInCD 3.371

Yup, yup, Nero& DirectCD just don't get along at all. It's like meeting your motherinlaw for the first time (gawd). You can do a diagnistic test on that cdrw that you were attempting to pull 1 file from with Ahead InCD 3.371. I still believe Nero just not the problem ;)

AheadInCD 3.371: /http:xwx.cdrinfo.com
I don't know if cd-r soft has added this latest program ffrom Ahead software.

Yikes

Installed 5599 today (from 5504). I thought my system had new drivers loaded etc. Freaked out and uninstalled new pgms I had just installed. Between NERO Image Drive and my DVD drive I think my DVD drive is short circuiting and has to GO.
Will see tomorrow as I put the old CD-ROM in place till a DVD drive is on sale. DVD drive WAS making spinning noises.
BLAME NERO! My first thought.

I'm not having any troubles with Nero whatsoever. In fact, I've been using Nero for 2 years. I try and tell other people NOT to update, but ALWAYS do a fresh install. I do this with CloneCD as well ;)

5599

I installed 5599. I think it loaded new ATAPI drivers as NERO 5504 OEM again will not run after I run any other pgm 'post' bootup, shell32.dll error. Redid everything due to ------

My DVD must have burned up, smelled buring wire the other day and the whole system went wacko, even display trying to read any CDs. Everytime I put a CD in DVD drive it RE blew the system.

Gotta try a clean 5599 again with my old CD-ROM and CD-RW.

5504 OEM again will not run 100% properly again.

With this mess I freaked out as maybe the WHOLE computer died.

I will not run NERO IMAGE DRIVE this time. I had FantimCD CD drives listed in the computer still.

REFORMAT! MS eraser.
