Nero 5.5.9.14, Bug for SVCD?!

Hi,
After I wasted several CDR by using Nero 55914 to create SVCD,
I found out it's maybe a bug in the version. Now I installed the
5.5.9.9 again and every thing is well with the SVCD's.
Have anyone else also the problem?
Don't use 5.5.9.14!

No One elce has this problem Because no one would Dare risk useing Such a Terrorable encoder to make there SVCD"s with..It isn"t even worth risking a CDR on.....There are much better ways to make svcds than useing That Nero CraP....

Are u encoding svcd or just using a compatible mpeg2 file to create a svcd.
Creating svcd is fine with nero.
Encoding svcd with Nero is like driving your car with the windscreen covered in axle grease!

First thank you for the replies.
I didn't use Nero to encode, but just for making SVCD. Because
I want to use 90Min CDR. But the SVCD made by 55914 has what
ever a bug, that they can't be read. With 5599 is ok.
No idea why, could be only a problem of my system. But it's strange.

Rule Number 1 for Nero:

If U get a version that does all u need. DO NOT upgrade it!

Nero upgrade is often a downgrade.

BTW I am a Nero fan, but, also a realist!!

Nero is a versatile tool already ..
The programm code is quite big I guess, so it is already pretty hard to wipe out all the bugs, and even harder to discover them
so daveml is quite right ...
as many people said before:
never change a running system

Nero 5.5.9.17 problem under xp

Hallo.


I have are problem to burn Svcd[SVCD.TS-Centropy.CD1].i have installed the newest version form Nero and olso install MP3,MP3Pro,WMA,Svcd plugin,but wen i will burn a mpeg movie nero will burn it only as vcd.Example:the following problems we found

1.-mpeg 2 instead of mpeg 1
2.-invalid videostream 25 frames/sec,480X576p

Normaly when you want to burn a mpg-cd you can select vcd or svcd but i cant find it nero use onnly vcd.


Help me please
