nero 5.5.8.0 ( and every 5.5.x.x since) copy problem

lately i'm unable to copy a cd no matter what

on the fly, or using disk and cdrw as a reader

or even creating nrg image, rebooting !, and then burning image

always the same:

"Burning process failed : Error writing lead-out"

* when i create a new compilation, however, everything is ok *

i can't seem to trace the problem, reinstalling nero & aspi
does not help

no other burning software at the moment
history : clone cd 4 for a day , nti cd maker 6 for a 10 minutes


xp pro, lite on 32x

when burning a cd

to creae the image
under the recorder menu
click choose recorder
then select image recorder...(not your burner)

then click copy cd and create the image file

after the image file has been created
then go back and choose your burner under recorder
and ...burn it

your problem is the nti cd maker make sure that u remove all the registry enries i had this problem nero and nti can not coexist and re-enter your nero serial number.

not true im using nero 5.5.9.9 and nti 5.1.29 and NTI 6 platinum quite happy and stable on the same system along with DISKJUGGLER 4.xx , clone cd 4.xx and cdr win 3.9 and alcohol 120 without any problems or hassles crashes or bugs !!!

only software i EVER had problems with was EASY CD CREMATOR and thats becuase its a problematic program in itself and most people have problems with it

Have been using NERO for ages now. At my machine Win2k SP3
The following programs is installed together. Nero, CloneCD, NTI-CD Maker 6 Platinum, Feurio, Alcohol 120%, CDRWin, VCDEasy,
CD Architect. And Everything is working perfect. No problems
what so ever with any program. !!
