Need your help for a dvd program.

Well been using power dvd for watching my dvd movies.
I want to control the program using my tv's remote control.
Does anyone know if this is possible? Or can U suggest any other dvd - playback program that supports remote controls (via winlirc) ?

www.bsplayer.org - but I can't se if it does or doesn't support DVD (assuming that the codecs have already been supplied by power dvd)

Winamp is another possibility - again, not sure if that frontends DVDs

Interesting - I didn't know there was a windows port of that remote program

Both BSPlayer and Winamp 5 can playback DVD's, but this doesn't mean they will work with any remote handset in the universe...

@scarecrow I'm using bsplayer and it fully supports remote control but I do n't think it supports dvd playback.
Winamp has a plugin for playing dvds and for remote control.
Remote control plugin (the one I tried yesterday) its not freeware..

Media Player Classic supports both.

Well thanx I've installed media player classic.I can't make it to work with winlirc.Have you've made it to work?

Nope, but it has the option for it so I assumed it worked especially as I don't recall anyone reporting problems with it over at doom9.
