Need to add a folder to the "send to" dialogue

I have a folder where I keep all my shortcuts. It would be easier if I could right-click the shortcut and then "send to - folder" instead of pasting it there.

Then I make a tool bar out of that folder for quick access.

I'm using XP Home, btw.

an easier way is to use the sendto function in right click....

navigate to C:\WINDOWS\SendTo folder and drag a shortcut of the desired program/folder into there simple as that now every right click and send to choice will have your newly added program/folder !! ;)

enjoy and dont over do the send to thangs lol !! :)

heheh i have notepad and wordpad and word 2002 on my send to menu for fast access to text readin ! ;)

VIPER, that is exactly what I am trying to do: create the folder in the "sent to" menu.

But I don't have a SendTo folder locate in C:\WINDOWS

Are you sure that's the right path??

if you have Win 2k there are 2 sendto folders prefer:
your OS drive letter:\Documents and Settings\Administrador\SendTo\

anyway you should be able to find your sendto or any folder with you windows search (press the windows key+F)

Maybe you should try to type "sendto" in your RUN window, of course without ("). It works on WindowsMe.

And, yes, SendTo folder is placed in C:/WINDOWS but it's hidden by default. Don't know about WinXP.

Bingo !!

Thanks jasmin, that took me right to it. It opened up the folder containing all the programs that are in the "sendto" part of the right-click (context) menu.

In XP, the location is:
C:\Documents and Settings\User Name\SendTo

Thanks a mill :D
