Ok, What software can I use to create an ISO of DVD files ripped with another ripper as I am on my 9th failed attempt to rip this disc with DVDDecrypter via DVDStripper. As I said it sucks for scratched discs. I also need some software for mounting the image. What a waste of time.

Use ImgTool to convert to image and mount with Daemon Tools then use DVDStripper.

http://www.coujo.de/ for ImgTool
http://www.daemon-tools.cc/portal/portal.php for Daemon Tools

You can keep asking this question and you'll keep getting the same answer. During playback, DVD scratches are ignored, to some extent, similar to audio CDs. However, that's not the case when you're trying to get a perfect copy of the actual data.

If the surfaces is too scratched to extract, you can't extract, period. It has nothing to do with the extraction software. You can make an image with Alcohol or another detail-oriented imager but you cannot recover data which is gone.

Read my statements and observations in the other thread.

BTW - SmartRipper pulled the entire disc in the first shot. Took a good while but it ripped it.
