Need recommendation on silent case fan

Look in the fan section for the Vantec Stealth Fan SF9225L it give you 28cfm @ only 20dBA. An excellent cooling fan...I can barely hear it...in fact my Hard Drives are noisier!

BTW, its a 92mm case fan. You could go smaller...but I modded my case just a little to make it fit. Best $12.99 plus shipping I've spent in a ling time.

I just realized that maybe it's a bit cheaper because, like you said, you can go smaller.

So, I'm left with the eternal question: does size matter?
(I'm sure it does in the case).

It surely does. "Power" of cooler depends on the material and area of passive cooler and on the amount of air the active part can get through the passive. So, it depends on area of lists and RPM of active part.
Don't even forget to use the silicon paste to get better contact between the cooler and the microprocessor.

Yes, Wedge this appears to be the same...although I think you already ordered it ;)

Plus...these guys have good prices. Please let me know how the whole experience went with this vendor. The guys over at Crazy PC are not the cheapest, but they have fantastic customer service. :)
