need recommendation on CDR software

I have a big project ahead (duplicating 400 CD's) and most of these are old CD's with no CD text. I'd like to find a CDR software that can integrate CDDB or FreeDB CD text into the copied version. I've tried EAC, but frankly I got so confused because there is no tutorial or instructions I could figure it out. NTI platinum looks promising. Any ideas out there?

I'm with Lore... learn how to use EAC and stick with it for audio duplication. Yes, it is harder to learn... but once you learn it, it's really easy. Chris Myden's tuts make it simple and easy to pick up.

Also your burner must B able to support cd-text.
Since or if your going to input the cd text field on to your cd's.
Winoncd range but I use v3.8 ;)

EAC supports this (reading/writing) CD-text as well... provided as Rasta said your burner supports it.

CD text support

The issue of CD Text support is tricky.

I have a ACER TravelMate 630 Laptop. It has a SONYCRX 800E CDRW drive.

How can I tell if if supports CD Text? IF it does, does it mean that when I burn a CD and I play it in my SONY MEGA CD changer it will display the artist and all the track names like the commercial CD's I have bought?

1) You can go onto Sony homepage and check your drives details...(I wish you all the luck)
2) You can use a tool like NeroInfo Tool which will give you a read out of your drive details
