need help with my dvd x copy install

first off sorry for being such a newbie...but i downloaded the dvd x copy with a key generator....but it doesnt give specific details on how to use it....i need some help.....i installed version 1.5,but when i open up the key generator it just gives me a user code, but the program itself is asking for the license id and password....what do i do
