Need Help with a .V64

Could someone help? I just downloaded a file that turns out to be a .v64, whatever that is. My question is, what exactly is it, is it like a .ISO, .BIN, or .CIE file, and if possible, how do you burn it, or what do you do with it?

Sounds like a Nintendo 64 Rom file to me. Try opening it up with a N64 emulator.
