Need a clarification

Hi m8's, I am failry new to the backup procedures. I need a clarification. I have a PS2 version 3 modded with DMS3. When I make a CD or DVD backup, do I need to apply any patch to the back up file on the HD before burning it to a blank CD/DVD? Thanks for your help.

No patch needed prior to burning the file. There are other patches that can be applied to the file if needed or wanted. NTSC or PAL conversion patches and Trainer patches(cheats that u want on the game).
