Nec Nd2500?

I am currently in the 'process' of buying a DVD-Writer.
I saw this at 121cdr and Ebuyer and it seems a good deal (~£100).
I was going to just play it safe and get the Pioneer 106, ut now am not so sure.
Anyone had any experience with it - presumably it's pretty new.
How have NEC drives been in general, i can't seem to find too much info when i had a quick peek on google.
