NEC ND 1300A problems when burning -r

Hi all
I cannot burn -r media with my Nec ND 1300A.
Does anyone know what the problem may be?

I am useing Nero 6.0...WinXp and 2400+ and one gig memory.

Any suggestions?

Typical of a +/- drive from a company who started exclusively with +R, the -R capability leaves a lot to be desired ... in the context of that table, 50/50 means "type is supported, but results are poor".

Ritek G04 dye or nothing, it would seem!

u can try flashing to one of Herrie's firmwares to see if they'll improve compatibility for u.

There was a problem with some media on this drive. I think upgrading the firmware should help. Try using some good ritek media. Also try a different burning proggy like copy2dvd. I found that a good progam.
