my Pioneer 105 reads 4.482 gb instead of 4.7

I have a Pioneer 105, and I use a non marked DVD-r (white tops, only thing written on them is www.dvd-recordable.net gen4 v2), at first it was ok, some DVD's won't play bak on my LG DVD drive. But then the Pioneer started reading blank DVD-r's and also DVD-rw's as 4.482 gb instead of 4.7
I upgraded the firmware, and used easy cd & dvd creator 7 instead of Nero, but the problem is the same. The pioneer reads the recorded DVD's but the LG Player won't.
Can anyone help?

4.7G is the nominal capacity of a DVD-R, the actual one is 4.37G. Maybe the capacity you report above is measured in MB? (4.37 GB = 4,474.88 MB).
As for the second thing, it may be just the media you use, have no idea what your "LG DVD drive" is actually able reading.
