My Netgear Router Is A Pain Help.!!!

Hi Guy's

I really need some advice..

I have 2 PC'S 1st one is Athlon 3000+ & Other One Pentium 3 2*1000Mhz. (Wired Athlon 3000+ Connected @ 100Mbps & PENTIUM 3 @ 10Mbps)

Both of them are connected to a Router (NETGEAR WGR614 v2) The Router is also a wireless router as well as wired.

I have an Athlon 1.2Ghz in the Attic which is wireless..
All 3 PC's have WINDOWS XP SP1 Intgrated.

Now the problem I'm getting is the router restarts when it wants to. or some times i dont get the internet connection, When I open IE it says connecting to www.google.co.uk, same goes to other websites.

But this only happens on my PENTIUM 3 other 2 work fine..

Also I've even upgraded the Firmware on the router. Its still doing it.

Does anybody have the same router or had similar problem please let me know. Or is it to do with DNS, Is there also a tweak or anything thats caused it please HELP..!!

Unless the P3 is a laptop or something, the line of least resistance would be to replace its network card - some hardware just doesn't work well together, and I doubt the router is well tuned for 10Mbit - what card and drivers is it?
If it's set for duplex or auto, try non-duplex.

Hi

Its a Desktop P3
Also the P3 has been tuned to the MAX. The network card dosent hav Duplex Active.

Another thing I have come accross is Ive turned my wireless off and it works fine so far..

Keep you updated..
