My experience with CD Master Clone

Tosses in a Van Halens greatest hits on my LiteON LTD 165 DVD-Rom. Opens CD Master Clone and ticks read image and off we go... So far soo good then spins down at 62%. Twiddles thumbs, waiting, waiting.. 1 hour goes by and I'm still at 62%. PC locks as I try to stop the process. Needless to say, this program ain't what it is bragged up to be. Still trying to figure out where the uninstall is :mad:

Hi Lakeside,

Well, using Liteon DVD-163 as reader, for a safedisc 2 i need env. 40-55 Min under CDMASTER...

But the result of the copied CD, it more 'reliable' than the same backup made under CCD (according to me)

Also, when i want a 'quality' backup (mean true 1:1 copy)...
I've to pay the prize ! (mean more waiting reading time than fake CDD backup)

So you have the choice of:
* FAST Backup via CCD (but with not a true 1:1 copy)
* True RAW COPY Backup (via CDMaster but you're ready to wait more times until the reading process is successfully done)

Actually, it's hard to have theses both possibilies available on one software

Well, we have to choose the best way by ourself ;)

I'll do another test with my Plexy and try and copy Command& Conquer Renegade (Safedisc 2.5.021) with CD Master Clone. I assure you the program will fail :D

@poko Van Halen Greatest Hits has no cd protection. CloneCD reads the cd just fine, Plexy as well ;)

Hi Lakeside,

what do you mean by 'will fail' ?
on reading ? or on writing ?
