My dog ate my disc

Hi guys. I have dvdxcopy. From what I understand, when dvdxcopy copies a movie for you, it writes a file onto the disc that prevents the copied disc from itself being copied (you must recopy the original). My question is, what happens if your dog eats your original? You can't make a backup? I read somewhere that there is some software that will make an exact copy of the disc, and doesn't really care about the dvdxcopy file. Can anybody shed some light on the software that can do this?

P.S. In case you're wondering, no my dog really didn't eat my disc - I don't even have a dog!

PC-GUY Thanks for the suggestions. They seemed a little too complicated for me though. I was looking for something similar to my Easy CD Creater 5 by Roxio, where I just pop in my cd, and make an exact copy. It seems SpongeBob has the answer.

SpongBob Thanks for the reply. Any idea on which version to use?

Thanks.
