my copies now jump & skip mid way through the movie??

I have a new Pioneer A06 in a brand new P4 2.8ghz 800fsb Asus P4p800 MB 512mb dual channel Giel RAM.
The first 26 Movies Ive copied play perfectly in all types of standalone players. Then all of a sudden, for no apparent reason any DVD I copy now only plays until approx half way through, then it starts jumping, pausing, skipping & eventually goes to SHIT!! Ive tried reauthoring them, uninstalling & reinstalling all programs. The decrypted Vob files play perfectly in WIN DVD, but the burnt copies have this annoying issue! Ive only ever used Laser 4x media (purple dye) & they've all worked until now (Im halfway through a spindle of 20 discs) Now all I get is nothing but coasters that play half way through only.
Softwares used: Decrypter, shrink, IFO edit, Img Tool then burn with decrypter.
Please help me, Is this new burner stuffed?? Someone mentioned testing my memory timings could be out?

I would try borrowing another disc from someone, it's not unusual to get a bad batch.

Make sure your virus scanner is not kicking in as well when you are burning.

My money is on a bad batch of discs

Someone from another forum suggested rolling back my system (XP pro) back to the date of my last successful burn, the aim was to remove any Windows updates or patches Ive installed since the problem began occurring. Because he had a similar problem & doing this fixed it for him.

I did this & it seems to have solved half the problem i.e (There are no read errors evident on my new copy since the roll back) BUT, Im still getting skips mid way through the disc when played on my LG standalone player even though Ive tested the copy for read errors on DVDInfo and found none.
Note: This copy is not skipping on my DVD Rom.
I would like to try cleaning the laser on my standalone, does anyone know the best way to do this?
Im also thinking possibly a bad batch of media although many regard Princo as top notch media (Its branded as laser 4x) but is actually princo media according to DVDInfo. Any more advice on this is really appreciated.
Regards
Adam

LG Standalones are notorious for haveing DVDR playback problems. Unless the DVDR media is perfectly matched to it, it will do exactly as you say. Have you playe dyour dvdr's that have problems in a mates/family/neighbours DVD player to see if they play there okay?

I'm with fffclub, I suspect a media problem. Worth checking your firmware of the a06 and upgrading as new f/w has been issued. Many think Princo is good but only because its cheap. Princo made cheap crap CDR's for years, now they are doing the same with DVD's. Spend a few more pennies and get soming 100% better.
