multissesion

here is my prob:
I use winXP + nero and I made a cd with several sessions... and someday I had the brilliant idea ('cause I was bored to boot to XP) to use linux to add some files to the multiseesion cd... the result was to add the new files, and all the previous old sessions to dissapear...
In win9x you could see the old sessions by right clickind to the cd-drive and selecting the seesion (nero added this to the system), but how can I access the previous sessions in XP? any ideas?

When you ADD more DATA to the CD-R you will have to tell the CDR program that you want to ADD *MORE* DATA else you won't see the older DATA.

Different program uses different command's but they all work similar to each other. Since you have Nero then these are the commands for Nero.

[x] Start Multisession Disc = if you plan to add more DATA later.

[x] Continue Multisession Disc = ADDing more data <<- this is the one you want

[x] No Multisession = if you DO NOT want to add more data in the future.

Well, in order to recover the previous DATA from that disc you will need a util called "CD-R Diagnostic" to copy Old/New data to hard drive and burn them again. You can find "CD-R Diagnostic" in main cdrsoft or search for the attachment someone just posted few days ago.

Using W2K and Nero 5590 or 5582 still can't get multisession to work.

First time compiled ISO Data CD with [x] Start Multisession Disc

Second time [x] Continue Multisession Disc

and then it asks to select track but it shows [?MB] and will not allow selection of last track.

What went wrong?

Blank media was x16 but Nero allowed burning at x24 setting from previous burn = (?Mb) or a coaster. Even verified burned CD  but NoGo.
