MSI DR4A and Nero

Does anyone know about problems with MSI DR4A DVD burner running NERO 5.5.10.45 bundled version that only let me use 24X CD Burn speed and 2X DVD Burn speed. Any idea to fix this problem?

try disabling Nero's Optimum Writespeed Control:
Nero > Menu > Recorder > Choose Recorder > MSI DR4A > Options > Optimum Writespeed Control
