ms windows update site hlp req

i want to have the critical updates stored on my hard drive so if i have to format my drive again i wont have to download them again my problem is what version do i have i know i have xp pro with sp1 installed but on the microsoft update site i can see 10 different sorts of xp updates windows xp64bit edition/windows xp64bit edition rtm/windows xp64bit edition sp1
etc etc what version do i download
