MS wants your License Sticker Number -- You don't think this is about those key-gens?

"MICROSOFT HAS GONE ALL FUNNY without any reason at all that we can figure.

Here's a very recent verbatim conversation it had with one of our readers – a system integrator:

MS Call Centre “Sir could we please have the Licence Sticker Number on your Box”

ME "Why?"

MS Call Centre "Can't answer this sir, all we are told to do is request all the licence code stickers now, unless you give this to us we cannot proceed with your re-activation"

ME "Why? I have bought and paid for it and you can see from the numerous amounts of times from calling we are the same people and same product, nothing has changed. Apart from a clean up from viruses and a failure of your product to recognise new drivers causing us 2 weeks ago to call and re-activate once more as the product cannot hack the pace of too much being yanked in and out of the system"

MS Call Centre "I can see this from the screen but can't answer this"

Hmm... µ"

no live links. have a look at the rules. thanks

Interesting but really not important as there’s virtually no chance of activating with a generated key anyway.

I think it's Micro$oft desperate way to collect as much CD-keys to blacklist. A guy that hasn't buy his product will not be so stupid to call Micro. So this is something to LOL, because there is no way to defeat the brains out here with the ones Billy boy has.

ya nice info, but doesn't really matter, 'cause all you really want to use is a version that requires no activation (like corp) or use a de-activating program.
Besides the call centers are crap anyways (who wants to pay more money for them to fix something they messed up with in their coding?).
