MS Media Player 9

Is this an ok update? I thought I heard rumors of copywrite restrictions or something, but that was before it came out. Now that its out, I'm wondering if this is something good, or something to avoid. Any recommendations on that and the codec pack for it?

I've been using it for 3 days now and so far so good. I can now actually play DVDs in media player, before I couldnt do it, or maybe its because I have WinDVD installed? Oh Well. I also tried most of the other media types avi (DivX3, 4, 5), mpeg 1/2, Xvid, mp3, and ogg. Those are the only formats I play so I happy atm.


Hopefully everything stays good.
