When using Wombles MPG2VR and I load in an mpg file of lets say 60 mins it only shows about 40 minutes of it. I am wanting to disect the file into 2 parts of 30 minutes each or a 90 minute file into 2 parts of 45 minutes each.
Also if I try multiplexing a file which converts to a file of about 650mb it only writes a file of around 420mb.

A bit more info please. What EXACT version of MPEG-VCR are you using and are you loading in MPEG1 or MPEG2 files?

Its 3.11 and Im working mainly with mpg1 format.
If I load in a file for inspection or editing it does not show all of it. If Im working with 2 files and I use the copy and paste function from one to the other and in theory end up with a 60 minute file it only outputs a file of about 40 mins in length.

There are actually 2 versions of MPEG-VCR, one for mpeg1 and one for, wait for it, mpeg2. First I would suggest you upgrade to 3.12.

Hmm... I've done what you are trying a few times and never experianced your problem so not sure where to go. Try the upgrade as above. I normally use TMPGEnc for my editing as it works everytime with mpeg1 & mpeg2. Worth a try.
