Mpeg2VCR problem

I`m trying to fix an audio synchronization problem in an xvid (Treasure Planet) where the audio is out constantly throughout.
I`m using (or trying to use ) MPEG2VCR 3.13 and Chickenmans excellent tutorial , the problem is that when MPEG2VCR remultiplexes the adjusted audio and video streams , and I play it in WINDVD there is no sound at all. I`ve played the audio stream seperatly so I don`t think it is a problem with the demultiplex in TMPGE. Am I missing somthing ?

Thanks in advance

Windows has native support for MPEG1 Layer2 audio as used in (S)VCD's. Does it play okay with Windows Media Player ? If so then I suggest you have a problem with WinDVD. If not then I suggest you have a problem with Windows itself.

You havent installed the Nimo codec pack by any chance have you? If so Un-Install it for trouble free playback.

The latest version from Womble is also 3.14 ( http://www.womble.com/download.htm ), and could be worth an upgrade.
