MPEG2 Plugin For Nero

Can any one help me in installing MPEG2 Plugin 1.2 For Nero . After executing the setup a popup saying the "plugin installed" appears and I could see the file VMPEG2ENC.DLL copied to nero directory.

Is that all one should do. Or do we need to link that file with any of the nero options??? Because I'm getting the error saying "Plugin missing" I was not able to encode any AVI files to MPEG2 to create SVCD.

Please help me in resolving this.

PS: My nero Version is 5.5.7.8 [OEM]

Got a Fix

Finally I got the fix for Mpeg 2 plugin for Nero. I have tested burning SVCD which is perfect. I'm using
"nero 5[1].5.7.8 svcd plugin eagle.zip" which I got from

Problem With Nero for SVCD Burning

Hi,
I need your help
I have Nero 5580 Installed registered with serial number
the wizard gives me only vcd option (no svcd)
I see in new compilation the svcd icon with all it's option.
I don't get any call for PlugIn
After I saw your problem with the missing mpeg2 I downloaded and installed it and now I see the file VMPEG2Enc.dll installed in nero directory
and yet the wizard show only vcd
In Preferences there is only the audio Plugin and Unsupported Plugin which tells me to connect to Nero.
What seems to be the problem
