MPEG2 Editing with M2-EDIT......

I'm using M2-Edit to cut part of an MPEG2 movie, then saving it result in a movie bigger then the original one!!!!
Does any1 knows why, is there any particular option to activate when I save?

Is the MPG-2 file a SVCD ? If it is, M2-Edit has no support directly for SVCD's. Wombles MPEG2VCR program would be a better editor for SVCD's.

Got MPEG2VCR, loaded in input an MPEG2 program stream with size=826.440MB, length=00:54:24:22, I would like to append to this, a clip with a program stream size=2.684MB,
length=00:00:07:21, when I try to save it in MPEG-2 program stream SVCD I obtain an estimated output (MB)=1122.994!!
How is it possible???!!!

Both MPEG-2 streams will need to have the same basic format. ie both PAL or NTSC, same audio specs, both VBR or CBR, etc else all sorts of problems will occur.
