Mpeg2 cutting

Hi im in the middle of putting to 2 svcd cds onto dvd and ive done all the changing the audio from 44 to 48 with that (S)VCD2DVDMPG program and im about to put them onto dvdr, but the problem is that at the start of the second cd it plays back the last 10 seconds of the end of cd 1,so is there some type of program like an mpeg2 cutter or some way that i can cut that 10 seconds off, anyway thanks.

All you need to do is demux each SVCD mpeg to its video & audio streams and load them into DVDLab. It will convert the 44.1 to 48 for you, it will also allow you to trim off the 10sec overlap section. You then link the output of first mpeg to the second mpeg.

You can normally put 2 svcd movies to one DVDR so do the same for the second svcd and make a menu in dvdlab, quite simple really. I did a couple on the weekend to try it out, works well.

For 100% DVD compatability, its also best to convert the audio from the MP2 form to AC3, just use AC3 Machine or BeSweet GUI, both need BeSweet to work.

Yeh thanks a lot ChickenMan i got the svcd split into seperate video and audio and got dvdlab to re encode the sound to 48k all that went fine but when i try to load the video file it tells me theres something wrong with missing or wrong header and it tells me to load the file up in tools and try to fix the stream headers, and i did that but nothing happens i click the fix headers button and it says nothing was done,so do you know what i can do from there, thanks for the help.heres a screenshot of what dvdlab says

Then it appears your SVCD is not a true SVCD or made correctly in the first place.

I would try making a cue/bin file out of the original MPG file with VCDEasy, then extact the MPG file out of the bin file with IsoBuster, Demux and try loading that in. VCDEasy tends to correct a lot of header faults.
