mpeg1 to dvd audio sync 44 to 48

i am trying to put several episodes of enterprise on one dvd
using tmpeg products the audio needs to be 48000 so when i convert it i get
audio sync problems that get worse as the video goes on

anyone have any answers

I guess try something other than TMPGEnc to resample the audio. If you want something really quick, with ffMPEG, you can directly take the 44.1KHz mpg and output a 48KHz AC3.

Not specifically, no. It is multiplatform; win32, linux, OSX, etc.

There is a GUI available specifically for AC3 encoding over at dvdrhelp, basically all you have to do is load the mpg, pick an output file and hit convert.

The GUI comes with a binary, not sure if there have been any changes to improve AC3 encoding lately though, so you may nor may not want to grab a newer build.
