this also may of been caused if this is a vcd/svcd converted with NERO a lot of people here have had this problem trying to get NERO to re-encode the mpeg
Either turn the monitor/TV upsidown or stand on the head I have run into this once when I tried the capture card, and read something on MS Windows knowledge what causes the problem and how to fix it, but I didn't try to remember the small detail what and how to fix it.
As Luuve said, stand on your head is a good alternative to turning the TV upside down.
Seriously, its probably an AVI conversion with Nero and will be of crap quality anyway, so I would try re-converting it with Nero and it may flip it back to normal.
